Remember when tires were $12.95? We do. Originally opened in 1945 in Great Neck, City Auto Tire Centers will be celebrating its 71st anniversary. Founder Joseph Chiet expanded his facilities in 1966 when he moved the business to Williston Park. Ten years later he opened his first Suffolk County location in Centereach with his son, Alan. After owning the Centereach store for over 40 years, Alan has passed the torch and turned over ownership to former manager John Callas with the assistance of managers Steven Zahra and Michael Breck.

In 1989, a City Tire Auto Center was opened in Port Jefferson where ownership was transferred to Tom Cleary, a former manager of the City Tire Auto Center group.

City Tire Auto Centers are equipped with all the newest high-tech automotive equipment to perform all types of automotive repairs.
